Nursery Bloom embodies the concept of conserving built and environmental heritage. This thesis encourages the idea of horticulture, a practice which contributed to the evolution of humanity. The structure was proposed to house a communal greenhouse which serves fresh fruits and vegetables to the cafeteria, farmers market, horticulture workshop as well as the nursery/ preschool classrooms for educational purposes. The greenhouse design consists of glass enclosures (pods) shaped as hexagonal prisms, mimicking the pattern of a beehive.
